En 1939 un grupo de voluntarios se embarcaron en un viaje hacia el espacio, en busca de nuevos mundos. Partieron ilusionados aquella soleada mañana y pudieron observar desde las alturas aquellas preciosas vistas hacia nuestro mundo. Un año más tarde regresaron, muy contentos y con muy buenas noticias ya que habían encontrado un nuevo planeta. Poco después se dieron cuenta de que el mundo estaba mucho más viejo y que sus familiares y amigos habían muerto ya, el paso del tiempo era mucho más lento en el espacio. Uno de los voluntarios pudo ver los ojos de su esposa, que lloraban, aquellos ojos eran los de su hija, ahora ya anciana.
